You have got to be kidding me!! (Housing crisis diary)

Thu Apr 24, 2008 at 08:15:55 PM PDT

So, the Bush administration is opposing Rep. Barney Frank's (D-MA) bill that would allow the FHA (Fed. Housing Administration) to take on $300 billion in new mortgages to assist struggling homeowners as well as a bill would move to send up to $15 billion to the states to buy foreclosed properties.

Now, this is absolutely no shock at all to any of us. However, here's the kicker....after the flip.

Ambassador Dennis Ross at the JFK Library

Thu Mar 03, 2005 at 09:02:05 PM PDT

Earlier today, Ambassador Dennis Ross was the main attraction of a forum at the JFK Presidential Library & Museum. Ambassador Ross was the lead negotiator for the United States in the Middle East Peace process during the administrations of President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.

The forum was led by Boston Globe reporter Kevin Cullen. He covered the Irish peace process for the Globe from Dublin as well as the war in what was Yugoslavia. He had an interesting perspective and asked what I thought were compelling questions.
