WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton, who has frequently described herself on the campaign trail as playing a pivotal role in forging a children's health insurance plan, had little to do with crafting the landmark legislation or ushering it through Congress, according to several lawmakers, staffers, and healthcare advocates involved in the issue.
Here's the way the whole thing works, according to Gorman: into the NSA's massive database goes data collected by the Justice Department, Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Treasury. This information includes data about email (recipient and sender address, subject, time sent), internet searches (sites visited and searches conducted), phone calls (incoming and outgoing numbers, length of call, location), financial information (wire transfers, credit-card use, information about bank accounts), and information from the DHS about airline passengers.
Hillary Clinton had no direct role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and is a "wee bit silly" for exaggerating the part she played, according to Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province.
Ouch that has to hurt. Finally people calling the former "But I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express Last Night" First Exaggerator in Chief on her BS.
You know this is the last straw. I'm sick and tired of the assumption that the Clinton's are the only people plugged into the reality of politics. Bill and Hillary have proven to be spoiled petulant children who are stomping their feet and crying because the entire Democratic establishment hasn't bent over to kiss their assess.
Paul Volcker has endorsed Barack Obama. Although for the lunch-pail crowd this will not register, I think it will make a difference for the Wall Street types in NYC, NJ and CT.
I was fairly excited to see the hard charging AG of NY take the governors mansion. Not being from NY, I really can't say I know Gov. Spitzer all that well. However, like many I thought his style and Teddy Roosevelt Trust busting attitude might serve well in an era of runaway corporate greed and corruption.
However, there is a big issue..... Spitzer wants DNA database of all misdemeanor offenders.
So apparently, the company that certifies electronic voting machines has failed to adequately do it job. Ciber is a Denver based company that checks the software for glitches, hackable code etc.,. So let's see you have entire voting process controlled by groups who have vested interests in the Republican Party. Ciber's shady practices have been well documented in the blogosphere. More after the jump.
What's important.... He was giving strategic advice to Republican Governors. The media has picked up on the google bombing techniques used by both sides. We should be vigilant. Google helped to kill the Allen campaign and the law of probability
This is cross-posted by PattyP over at MYDD.com and also in open comment thread here. There isn't a diary so forgive me but this is an excellent idea. We should get on it.
Hopefully this gives some background to the amount of money and resources dedicated. A great link to give to reporters and journalists looking for details to include in stories.
It's hitting the local press. It was the Daily Press's front page headline in the print edition.
The article itself does go into detail of information that's pretty much lifted from Dkos ;) But whateva.... looks like the story hasn't died just yet and it's got local traction.

I like many on this website got off the Joe Biden bandwagon a long time ago after his vote on the bankurptacy bill. However, the Senator's performance on Bill Maher has sent Biden back to the top on my potential candidates. See extended entry for why.....
There is something to be said about making sure the House Leader isn't caught in headlines saying, "Democratic Leadership: Breaking Rules". But I find myself agree with Matt. Seems like a Catch-22 situation.
I'm going to try and do this once a week. It seems that the (D) do a poor job of carrying a message to the voter. My intention is not to be another opinion that criticizes. I hope this series of diaries will provide a discussion point for failures by the Democratic Party to speak on a level that voters will connect with. We are working against a powerful party and a media that isn't always cooperative. To date the "victories" by the Democrats have been because of utter failures by the Administration. Of course success isn't possible without failure but my point in writing this weekly diary is to highlight a singular point, our party needs to be strategic and refine its attack. While our agenda can be filled with a wide range of issues, our attack plan must be focused. The main method of attack is communication with the voter.
Wolf Blizter is a hack. Plain and simple. Bless Joe Wilson for not punching this spinless pod person into next year.

I had this response to the question about Democrats and framing. Rosenberg's post was in reponse to a few things but notably to a paper by George Lakoff that can be reviewed here.
