After several days of Bill and Hillary Clinton floating the idea of a joint ticket with rival Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton chief spokesman Howard Wolfson declared Monday that Clinton does not consider Obama qualified to be vice president.

Still, Wolfson said Clinton would not "rule out" Obama as a potential vice president, in the event the Illinois senator is somehow able to prove he meets the test for commander-in-chief between now and Denver.

Deep Thoughts: I wonder what 'proof' Wolfson and Hillary would need? Tea with the ladies of Ireland? Singing on stage with Sinbad? The mind boogles.

Leaving beside the fact that the Hillary camp has been pushing Obama as VP, now we yet another mutation of HillaryCo. or perhaps another discovered "voice" or emerging personality saying the Obvama cannot be VP because he didn't go to Bosnia with Sinbad like Hillary did.

We don't need someone as unsteady as Hillary as CinC or VP.

I think it's time she go home to the Repugs and St. John and start gazing adoringly at his face. Again.
